The Bush Panic

Given that Dubya is currently even less popular than Old Scratch Hisself, and given that his Wall Street Socialism Bill is so bad even Newt Gingrinch opposes it(though Tweedledum and Tweedledumber have hit upon a way to make it even worse), why should Congress knuckle under to this Nigerian E-Mail Scam?  Congressional Democrats should listen to the better angels of their nature and use this bailout as an opportunity to force some real change on a corrupt and out-of-control financial sector.
