…evidently even McCain is having a hard time justifying his appalling choice of running mate (pretty much making him the last person on the planet to realize this). Meanwhile, back on the Hill, the American people actually be screwed slightly less on the Wall Street Welfare bill.

But screwed nonetheless. I’m thinking conspiracy. How else to explain all the comments from Treasury officials that without the bailout the Dow is poised for a 4000 point drop?
