BREAKING! Ron Paul Upset White Man Might Be Treated Like Indian In His Imagination

Remember Wounded Knee! But only if it happens to white people!

Remember Wounded Knee! But only if it might happen to white people!

Shorter Ron Paul: The Wounded Knee Massacre isn’t really anything all that bad unless I can imagine it happening to a white man like Cliven Bundy.

Is the Tea Party Christian?

A much better article than my own ruminations clearly establishes that the answer is “no”.  Neither Ayn Rand’s rancid Objectivism nor warmed-over Glibertarianism, both central (along with eye-rolling paranoia and thinly-veiled racism) to the Tea Party are compatible with Christianity.

Ron Paul: NPR’s Sweetheart

Cong. Ron Paul received a tongue-bath on NPR this morning, presented as a warm and lovable old coot who stands by his principles, dad burn it!  And that’s why the young’uns love ‘im!

Nowhere in this hagiography was it mentioned that the simple country doctor is also a racist, a paranoid anti-Semite, a Confederate apologist and is endorsed by neo-Nazis.  This is the dangerously liberal PBS Republicans were so hot to kill?  What’s next?  “Down Home Cajun Cookin’ with David Duke”?

Kucinich Drops Out!

Says he will not endorse another Democrat, but holds open the possibility of campaigning for his pal Ron Paul…

John Edwards is the New Al Gore…

…meaning the MSM punditocracy hate his guts and will do anything to defeat or marginalize him.

And in other news, Dennis Kucinich’s running mate Ron Paul turns out to be even more repulsive than previously imagined.

Jimmy Obama?

Based on this Washington Post article, Obama’s “audacious hope” really rings of naivete, and an unrealistic expectation of how things truly get done in Washington. “Sweeping bipartisan change” is an oxymoron; “change,” sweeping or otherwise, typically occurs only when one set of partisans has enough votes to ram it through over the objections of the other side. There are exceptions, such as LBJ’s civil rights legislation, which could not have passed without Republican votes, but given how polarized the parties are these days, I sincerely doubt it will matter how charming and inspirational a President Obama would be. Republicans have already settled on their game plan, obstructionism, and I don’t see that changing, no matter how badly they get whipped in November.

In other news, just in case the historical relevance of the word “populist” hasn’t yet been sufficiently desecrated through association with such odious poseurs as Ron Paul and Mike Huckabee, now Lou “Crazier’n a shithouse rat” Dobbs is mulling a bid for President to hold the line against the Invading Brown Hordes.

UPDATE: Senator, I knew Jack Kennedy; Jack Kennedy was a friend of mine…

And That’s It For Dennis!

My Dear Liberal Friends:
Y’all know I love ya, but I no longer want to hear a single word about how Dennis Kucinich is the only “authentic Democrat” running for President, now that he wants RON PAUL as his running mate.

RON PAUL: Racist and paranoid Anti-Semite.

RON PAUL: Insane 9-11 conspiracy theorist.

RON PAUL: The candidate of Neo-Nazis.

RON PAUL: And his amazing 19th Century economics policy.

RON PAUL: Confederate apologist.

And this THIS is the guy Kucinich wants to be one heartbeat away from the presidency? No thanks.

Profiles in Courage?

All Republican Presidential candidates (except for Ron Paul, John McCain and Tommy Thompson, not exactly the top tier) are too chicken to handle a YouTube debate like the Democrats. They can’t risk even getting that close to a live, unfiltered audience. I will say it again: any candidate for any office unwilling to answer live, unscreened, unfiltered questions from a live unscreened audience is a snivelling, pulling coward unworthy of a single vote for dogcatcher, let alone President of the United States.

That Rumbling You Felt Earlier Today?

That was Abraham Lincoln spinning in his grave. Special thanks to Sam Johnson, Joe Barton, Michael Conway, Mac Thornberry, and Ron Paul for showing their true commitment to the struggle for civil rights. Honorable mention goes to Pete Sessions, who couldn’t even be bothered to show up.
