  3. Kvatch: Oh. This must be how you found my blog! You could be right. “Gitmo” had uncertain (orat least complicated) “is this under US Federal jurisdiction?” status. So do reservation lands.

    Just so long as it’s Abramoff first…

I had not thought of the Abramoff scandal in a while…. a bipartisan matter where the main difference between the parties was that the bribe money directed to Democratic congresspeople was more properly (and legally) laundered as campaign donations, as compared to the more naked-looking bribes to Republicans.
