Lest We Forget

Article about the 40th anniversary of the Fish Wars, when members of the Puyallup Tribe were shot at, beaten and threatened for fishing ON RESERVATION LAND in accordance with treaty rights.  This is a little reminder for all the white folks who are constantly telling me that all the “bad stuff” that happened to Indians was “a long time ago” and “there’s nothing we can do about it now.”  Here’s a suggestion: HONOR YOUR OWN DAMN TREATIES.
