…the US Army suffers the worst defeat in its history at the hands of an alliance of Shawnee, Miami, Lenape (Delaware) and Potawatomis lead by Blue Jacket and Little Turtle at the Battle of the Wabash.  In the aftermath of the decimation (General Arthur St. Clair suffered 952 casualties out of a force of 1,000), Congress began its first ever investigation into the Executive Branch and President George Washington first invoked the doctrine of executive privilege in response (1791)
