As soon as our Glorious Leader’s re-election has been secured by ACORN and the New Black Panthers, please report to your nearest FEMA re-education camp to turn in your guns and be forcibly gay married to an illegal alien under Sharia law. Hail Satan!

The Future Is Past

Okay, so about a week out I’ll go ahead and make my long-awaited prediction:  Obama will carry every state he carried in 2008, less Indiana and possibly North Carolina and/or Florida.  Might also be a surprise and take Arizona.  I’ll also predict the Democrats will hold the Senate, and might even add 1 or 2, with the Republicans keeping the House, though I think their margin will be cut considerably.

Having said that, my prediction means (at least) another two years of complete gridlock.  If Obama really believes that his re-election will break the “fever blister” of Republican hysteria and obstinacy, he’s even more naive and narcissistic than I thought.  There are no moderate Republicans; there aren’t even really any sane Republicans left in Congress.  Even if there were, the Tea Party has sufficiently proven its ability to punish those who displease them that they will not take the risk of being seen to “cooperate” with the Muslim Nazi Kenya Usurper in the White House.  A GOP House will continue to refuse even a vote for any of Obama’s second term proposals; GOP Senators will continue to insist that 60 votes are required to conduct any business.  Assuming Romney loses, the Right Wing Howler Monkey Media Chorus will rail that he wasn’t conservative enough and insist on running a complete lunatic in 2016 (potentially good news for Joe Biden or Hillary Clinton).  I wish I was wrong on this, but I don’t think I am.

Yet another scum bag CEO has taken up Mitt Romney’s call and is threatening his employees to vote for The Mitt…or else.  Mike White, owner of the industrial equipment firm Rite-Hite, and unsurprisingly, a Scott Walker sugar daddy, is a certified asshole.

Bottom Line…

…repeat of the last debate in terms of style/presentation, meaning advantage Obama. Kind of confused by Mitt’s bold strategy of fighting to agree with Obama every chance he got. Took Obama two good debates to wash off the stench from his first performance. Substance? Please. America has had the same China policy (economic capitulation) for the last 30 years. And everyone agrees that blowing up villagers with drones is a swell way to win friends and influence people. Global warming? Hah. Evidently teachers unions, bayonets and horses are more relevant to foreign policy.

This is exactly how much regard Mitt Romney has for you:

I hope you make it very clear to your employees what you believe is in the best interest of your enterprise and therefore their job and their future in the upcoming elections. And whether you agree with me or you agree with President Obama, or whatever your political view, I hope — I hope you pass those along to your employees. Nothing illegal about you talking to your employees about what you believe is best for the business, because I think that will figure into their election decision, their voting decision.

That’s Debatable

Liberal crowing that the President “kicked ass” tonight are almost as pathetic as their claims his abysmal performance in Denver was part of some secret plan to lull Mitt Romney into a false sense of security. Romney looked about the same tonight; Obama only looked good by comparison with his previous phoned-in performance. That being said, given the volatile nature of the polling (something that frankly surprised me after the first debate), tonight’s showing should add to the slight uptick out of the tank Obama has been very recently enjoying.

Let Me See If I’ve Got This Right…

Mitt Romney repeats a time-worn (and wrong) Right Wing chestnut–namely, that half the country are lazy welfare bums who don’t pay taxes–and everyone’s up in arms? How’s that again? The only mystery, and it isn’t much, is why Right Wingers are so upset about people NOT paying taxes. What’s up with that, right? You thought Republicans hated taxes. Well, they do, but only taxes on REAL AMERICANS, i.e., John Galt, or Mitt Romney. The 47% myth plays into two deeply-held Right Wing beliefs: first, poor people suck. Poor people (especially brown poor people) are lazy parasites who should be brutalized for their moral failing in being poor. Second, Right Wingers fervently believe that the only reason the poors and the coloreds vote for the “Democrat” Party is because they are being bribed with all that welfare money confiscated from the Almighty Job Creator Class (put aside the facts of where and who the 47% really are). If only they had “skin in the game,” then they’d hate welfare and become good honest Republicans. Here’s the harsh reality: the flailing incompetent Romney Campaign has decided this will be a base election. Therefore, he’s going to toss as much red meat as possible to the Ayn Rand cultist base of the GOP. The only thing surprising about this “shocking” leaked video is that it’s not part of Willard’s stump speech. Yet.

What You Say vs. What I Hear

When You Say… I Hear…
“Now this might not be politically correct, but…” “I’m about to say something stupid and/or racist but I feel brave about it.”
“Some of my best friends are black.” “I have never met a black person in my life and frankly the very idea scares the shit out of me.”
“It’s just like Nazi Germany/Hitler!” “I am completely and totally ignorant of world history.”
“The Civil War wasn’t about slavery.” “I am completely and totally ignorant of American history.”
“Barack Obama is a socialist/communist.” “I have no idea what Obama’s policies are nor do I have any idea what the word ‘socialist’ means.”
“You can’t prove that it’s not true!” “I lack the knowledge of logic and reason found in junior high debate classes.”
“That’s against God’s will.” “I have never actually read the Bible and wouldn’t know it if you smacked me upside the head with the King James Version.”
“Homosexuals are destroying America.” “I am so far in the closet I can see Narnia from here.”
“Indians should just get over it.” “Please smack me in the mouth.”
“My great great grandmother was a Cherokee princess.” “Please smack me in the mouth.”
“America was founded as a Christian Nation.” “I am completely and totally ignorant of American history.”
“It’s well-documented…” “I’m totally pulling this out of my ass.”
“I want the government out of my life.” “I want the government in your life.”
“I’m sick of all these welfare moochers.” “I hate that any tax money goes to brown people.”
“Tax cuts pay for themselves.” “I don’t understand arithmetic.”
“I don’t need any help from the government.” “I would starve to death in my own filth without government assistance.”
“Illegal aliens need to go back where they came from.” “Irony escapes me.”
“I want a small Federal government.” “I want a police state for everyone but me.”
“Muslim extremists are taking over America.” “I want Christian extremists to take over America.”
“Bring back prayer in public school.” “Bring back Right Wing protestant evangelical prayer personally approved by me in public school.”
“Corporations are people, my friend.” “Unicorns are real.”
“Voter ID is just common sense.” “I’m upset that Negroes and poor people are allowed to vote.”
“We just want to Take Back America.” “I’m upset that Negroes and poor people are allowed to vote.”

Edward J. DeMarco: Dick

Why, exactly, does this guy still have a job?  The Housing Crisis continues to drag down the economy like a sack of wet cement and this guy wants to block the best chance for ameliorating it?  Obama needs to fire his ass.  Today.  Let’s keep in mind, by the way, that what he’s objecting to (a “cram down” of principal on upside down home mortgages) is already available to corporations in bankruptcy.  This is how big corporations in “re-organization” can stick it to their union employees and pensioners.  Why shouldn’t such power be available to consumers and families, either through this program or through bankruptcy?

FULL DISCLOSURE:  There’s at least one person in my family whom I suspect would benefit by this program if implemented.
